Save Your Coins—Beyoncé Is Releasing an Eau de Parfum

Forget the Renaissance visuals—Beyoncé’s focus seems to be on building her beauty empire little by little. Just months after announcing the launch of a hair care line (with no release date yet!), on Wednesday, July 19, curious fans found a dark, cryptic website with an announcement that the singer will be soon releasing an Eau de Parfum.

When you click the link, the website opens with a mysterious, blank perfume vial illuminated by a white background light, but its pack aging remains hidden. However, what we do

know is that the Eau de Parfum will be housed in a 1.7 fl oz bottle and will cost a whopping $160. Judging from the notes, Beyoncé’s EDP will lean on the sweeter side; top notes include tangy clementine and golden honey, which offer a delectable first impression. At heart are rose and jasmine for a floral medley that’s deepened by earthy myrrh and amber.

The news comes on the heels of the singer announcing she’s setting her sights on the hair world with what seems to be a line of hair care products. Reminiscing on her time working at her mother Tina Knowles’ salon, Beyoncé shared that she saw first-hand “how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women,” she captioned the post earlier in May. “Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”

Beyoncé is no stranger to the world of fragrance, having previously collaborated on a series of scents, including the Heat, Pulse, and Rise scent collections.

Unlike the visuals, fans can expect to start receiving their EDP bottles in November 2023. Those who purchase the EDP will also receive a “special gift” with purchase while supplies last. Sign up to be one of the first to get their hands on Beyoncé’s Eau de Parfum here.
